STREET STYLING

Last year, well I guess 'til now, I've been pulling off preppy looks for everyday wear, but honestly I looked like I've been aging fast with those clothes that people can say I'm already twenty-five, AND I'M JUST EIGHTEEN!! But seriously I'm twenty-one. So I decided to unpack my old clothes and shoes back to its rightful place, my closet. Here's a new look to get myself back on track and of course back to my younger fashion spirit.

SWEATER LEATHER

Sweater and leather for the cold weather! Winter swept December in some parts of the globe, but not here in the Philippines. But hey! We all here dreamed of snow in our streets and breezing cold winds. Maybe winter is not that colorful but I would really want to try building a snowman and throwing some snow balls too! So here's my first outfit post in 2015.

MOURNING

I really don't know if I'm still playing it grunge or goth (or maybe just casual lol), I really can't say since I'm really steering away from the traditional pieces used in grunge fashion. No flannel or ratty shirts, just a white over-sized top, a black hat and creepers.

GRUNGE : BLACK

Grunge - is actually a subgenre of punk music that turned into a fashion statement later on which introduced torn and faded jeans, flannel shirts, and ratty t-shirts (That's according to my research of course), but now this fashion statement has really evolved into something more complicated, someone tampered basic grunge with hands from the modern world.

KEEPING THE CLASS

So yes I am finally entering the corporate world, that is if I get a job soon or something, but I plan to be as casual and stylish as I can when looking for a job or even when I am already in a job. Companies have high standards and that wouldn’t just include your resume but it is essential that you put on a look that will make that HR officer say; “YOU'RE HIRED!”

BOY | GIRL

Inspired from tumblr guys and lookbookers all around the world. I would like to thank skater boys, street-style fashionistas and some other guys that really inspired me to pull off this look. Yeah I've been hooking up with style inspirations from a couple of western-based websites and I'm just really excited to try one on and walk the Philippine streets.

BLACK ROSES

Summer ends in the Philippines and the rainy season is up to reign the skies. Everyone expects for the cold weather, but it seems like here in PH, the atmosphere just can't get enough of the summer heat. So instead of wearing pants or long sleeved clothes, I pulled out this look that is just right for the weather.

WALLS AND FLOWERS

Floral prints and clothes were everywhere last year and it did make a big statement to the people wearing them. It's pleasing in the eyes, very much classy and quite refreshing to look at like bringing me into a happy mood kind of a feeling. So before it goes down the drain to being the so last season's trend (which I think is pretty much happening already) I tried to pull off a look with floral prints all over.

MAN DOWN

Camouflage pants, shirts, caps or bags - fashion now gets inspired by the "cool factor". Let's face it, looking at people on camou uniform, police badges, navy caps and even army boots is cool and I get goosebumps just by passing by them. Well this is not something new in the fashion industry since past trends have there way of coming back to present days, nevertheless, I tried digging in my masculinity and put up this look for a change.

LEATHER AND GOLD

Black leather and gold is like an icing in a cake, it's one of the most inseparable pairs. It's not just the color but it is also the texture, the shimmer and whatever it is that characterizes perfection. Gold in black or black in gold, switch it over and you'll just come up with the same superb combination.

OUT INTO THE SUN

This is what I wore during our family vacation last sembreak at SECDEA Resort, Samal Island. Why dress-up so fancy when going to the beach? Well basically I don't really go swimming when the sun is still up. I'm scared of the whole idea of getting tanned and it really takes so much effort, not to mention it would also be expensive, getting that silky-white skin tone back. So rather than getting myself burned in the sun, I choose to have a little walk around the resort instead. Just sitting down at the poolside, eating ice-cream, enjoying a stroll in the resort's mangrove-walk and watching the sun fall to sleep. Relaxing is the real idea of having a vacation after all.

THE MAFIA BOSS

Years from now I wanna be a Mafia Boss, a king of the underworld. The power and wealth, guns and goons, going out in the streets of the city all suit up with a briefcase and a cigarette, shooting people around then being chased down by policemen. Well that's one exciting life if you ask me!

EFFLORESCENCE

Imagine cherry blossoms sway as a strong cold wind sway its petals away.

It caresses me, although I haven't seen any cherry blossoms yet, but hey! It is just the same as being at the top of a hill on a windy day with green leaves sway around your face. LOL

DENIMIZED

What more to get everybody's eyes but to get DENIM-IZED.
